We are seeking a dedicated and skilled food hygiene operative to join our team in a food production environment ensuring production lines are cleaned to extremely high standards.
Ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to maintaining extremely high standards of food safety. This role is crucial in ensuring the production processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the operations.

Job Duties
- Clean and monitor machinery involved in the food production process.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP principles. - Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production line
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency and resolve any operational issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety guide.
Job Requirements & Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge, with experience in cleaning manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Understanding of food safety practices and HACCP regulations is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in food hygiene cleaning or a similar manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

- Monday to Friday, 16:00 to 12:00 midnight.
- Newcastle upon Tyne NE16, In person.
- You should have a reliable mode of transport as this place of work is in an out of town location

Salary
- £12.71 per hour plus performance bonus of £1 per hour
