Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated Caretaker/Cleaner to join our team in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep at a Primary School in Brinscall.
The role involves commercial cleaning duties and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Job Duties
Your duties will include:
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the premises
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed
- Locking and unlocking of premises and other caretaking duties
- Litter picking/pressure washing
- Occasional out of hours response, allowance paid for this
Job Particulars
- Job Type: Permanent
- Expected hours: 28.75 per week. Term time only.
- The hours are Monday to Friday 3 hours in the AM and 2&3/4 hours in the PM
- Work location: Brinscall, Lancashire, In person
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is essential
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in tasks
- Good physical health to handle cleaning equipment and perform tasks
- Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and report issues promptly
- Enhanced DBS check and clearance will be required
Experience
- 1 Year of commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Janitorial experience preferred
